Flowers, Fruit & Candy - Oh My!

We're just hanging out at the hospital - I'm doing much better... my kidney function is back to normal, my blood pressure is back to normal, and my blood sugars are back to normal... which is lovely!

Tyler is doing better tonight - they've backed his oxygen level down to 26%, and the air that all of us breathe is 21%... they are also going to take him off of the CPAP machine tomorrow and just give him oxygen - so when they do that - I will be able to hold him for the very first time.

They tried to raise his feeding amount today, but he didn't seem to be digesting everything they were giving him - so they've backed off on that for now... the doctor said that is pretty common, but we'll keep monitoring it as the time goes on. 

In the meantime - here are a few photos of the things people have dropped off for us while we're here at the hospital.

My mom bought the boys this giraffe for their room... it's so cute and so BIG! Very fun! Our niece, Brooklyn loved hugging him and petting him when she was visiting yesterday.

My Dad & family brought some flowers... which are really pretty and brighten the room! 

John's parents brought us this arrangement - which you all know is totally up my alley! Gotta love the chocolate. 

My office brought this fruit arrangement by yesterday, and it was probably the most welcomed addition that we've had... because it was the first solid food I got to have between Sunday night and yesterday afternoon.

Our Pastor, Kevin and Worship Pastor, Justin came by for a visit today and prayed with us... which was very comforting and loving... we are very blessed by all of the support we've gotten, and are grateful for all the prayers that have been lifted for all of us... I hope to have some great photos of us holding Tyler tomorrow to share, and hopefully some more news on his health improvements.
